So the pictures i captured were to show the things people don't really realize that are around school. some of them people may have seen already but they haven't looked at it in an artistic way. My pictures just show the amazing and un-noticed things around school. The school is actually very beautiful if you take the time to look at it.

The series of photographs that i did was unused candles. To make the candles stand out i put it on a dull background. It was really hard to balance the candles because it doesn't have an exactly flat bottom. The elements that wee used were textures, shapes, and lines. i thought it was really awesome that the texture of the rock in the foreground was very clear and visible.

Hi my name is Elizabeth Olivo. Im a junior at Point Loma High School. I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I started taking pictures when i was around 6 or 7. My dad used to buy me the kodak disposible cameras and i used to run around the yard taking of my brothers playing and pictures of flowers. Taking pictures is a way of showing people all the amazing things forgotten.
